Our Story
Preside was born out of a fundamental frustration. Global Board Institute spent years advising boards of directors across the Middle East, Europe, and North America, and saw the same problems everywhere. Board packs circulated over email as unencrypted attachments. Resolutions were tracked in spreadsheets. Minutes lived in shared drives that no one could find. Compliance obligations were managed through memory and good intentions rather than structured systems.
The existing solutions were either prohibitively expensive enterprise platforms designed for Fortune 500 companies, or generic collaboration tools that had no understanding of governance workflows. There was nothing in between, no platform that combined enterprise-grade security with accessible pricing, deep governance intelligence with intuitive design, and global compliance coverage with a modern user experience.
