Your Board Calendar, In The Tools You Already Use

Preside publishes a live calendar feed your directors can subscribe to from Outlook, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar, and lets you export the full governance record whenever you need it.

Key Benefits

  • Live Calendar Feed

Every board has a private .ics subscription URL. Directors add it once in Outlook, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar and new meetings appear automatically, with the agenda link included.

  • One-Click Add To Calendar

Any single meeting can be added straight to a director's calendar from the meeting page, without setting up a subscription first.

  • Full Data Export

Export meetings, resolutions, documents, action items and the audit log. Your governance record is yours, and you can take it out at any time.

  • Video Conferencing Links

Store the Zoom, Teams or Meet link on the meeting record so directors join from the agenda, whichever platform your board uses.

  • On Our Roadmap: Deeper Integrations

Two-way Outlook and Google Calendar sync, OneDrive and SharePoint document import, native Zoom scheduling, and single sign-on with SAML and SCIM are planned. They are not available today.

Calendar Subscription

Preside publishes each board's meeting schedule as a standards-based iCalendar feed. A director subscribes to the URL once in Outlook, Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or any other calendar client, and the board schedule then keeps itself current: new meetings appear, and changes to date, time or location flow through on the client's next refresh. Each entry carries the meeting title, time, location and a link back to the agenda in Preside, so a director moving through their week can open the board pack directly from the calendar entry. Because the feed is a read-only subscription rather than a two-way sync, nothing a director does in their own calendar writes back into the governance record, which keeps the authoritative schedule in one place.

Taking Your Record With You

Governance data outlives software. Preside exports meetings, agendas, minutes, resolutions and voting results, documents, action items and the audit log, so your organization can hand a complete record to an auditor, migrate to another system, or simply keep an archive outside the platform. Exports run on demand from the dashboard and cover the full history rather than a recent window.

What Is Not Built Yet

We would rather be straight about this than let you discover it after signing. Preside does not currently offer two-way calendar synchronization, a Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace application, OneDrive or SharePoint document import, native Zoom meeting creation, or single sign-on through SAML, OIDC or SCIM. Directors sign in to Preside with an email address and password. Those integrations are on our roadmap, and if one of them is a requirement for your board, tell us during your evaluation so we can be clear about timing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can directors see board meetings in Outlook or Google Calendar?

Yes. Each board has a private calendar subscription URL that directors add to Outlook, Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or any other standards-compliant client. Meetings then appear and stay current automatically. Individual meetings can also be added one at a time with an add-to-calendar link.

Is the calendar sync two-way?

No. The feed is a read-only subscription, so meetings flow from Preside into the director's calendar but not back. Two-way synchronization with Outlook and Google Calendar is on our roadmap.

Does Preside support single sign-on?

Not today. Preside authenticates with an email address and password. SAML 2.0, OIDC and SCIM provisioning are planned, and we will say where they sit on the roadmap if SSO is a requirement for your organization.

Can we get our data out of Preside?

Yes. You can export meetings, resolutions, documents, action items and the audit log at any time, covering your full history rather than a recent window.
